Swiss City Marathon & Half-Marathon
Lucerne is a city brimming with Swiss charm, sitting on the shores of Lake Lucerne, just beneath Mounts Pilatus and Rigi in the Swiss Alps.
We will give you time to visit some of the iconic landmarks like the Chapel Bridge (the oldest covered bridge in Europe), the old city walls and fortifications, the Dying Lion Monument, and the magnificent churches and architecture.
Our guide will whisk us away on boats, cog trains, cable cars & gondolas to the top of of the Mount Pilatus. From there we will bask in the 360° views of the rugged Swiss Alps with a Swiss beer (or wine) and a light lunch.
Then, we will hop on the “Golden Pass” railway and take the breathtaking beauty of the Swiss Alps. The train winds it way through awe-inspiring scenery as we make our way to our next destination, Lausanne.
Lausanne is in in the French-speaking region of Switzerland, and it is known as the “Olympic Capital.” A stop at the Olympic Museum is a must for any sports-lover. We will spend a day in Swiss Wine Country tasting the local wines and visiting the local vineyards.
But, we will also slow down and give you a feel of the “real” Switzerland– the mountain life, artisanal cheese, Swiss chocolate & wine, and more!
